Where did you grow up? Born and raised in Southern California - but I like to think NYC raised me.
How long have you been in the beauty business? Simultaneously managed salons and been a makeup artist since 2008
Where do you find inspiration? Whew, where don’t I? From a young age, it has always been a mixture of classic films, my fellow artists, traveling to new places, and really those who put their trust in me to work with them - all play a role in how and what I create.
What do you do besides managing the salon? I love working on shoots collaborating with others on set. But on the rare occasion I have a day to myself, I love hosting friends at my apartment. Whether that's a dinner party or a Bravo watch party, lol. I also love exploring my neighborhood with my husband and our pup Charlie.
What do you love most about the beauty industry? I love that we’re all finally able to take more charge of our careers. Be it our hours, what we charge, etc. We are banding together more than ever to support each other. I also love how willing everyone is to share their content. Whether it’s a how-to video, a list of products used, or a simple '‘day-in-the-life’, - it’s made me feel like we’re a part of such a stronger community of artists and that it's not every man for himself.
What looks are you into right now? Fresh glowing skin, highlighted cheekbones, and a strong brow.
